Add a category for rep-based workouts
I'd like to have a category for resistance training (including bodyweight) in the desktop app. Specific exercises could be entered from a user-created library. Fields would include weight, equipment, repetitions and sets, with the option to import a heart rate track (for the whole workout), total elapsed time, and ambient temperature.
We endurance athletes are notoriously bad about doing the strength work that keeps us healthy in our sports. Being able to enter my strength work at all into my main training log would be a HUGE boost both to motivation and to tracking results.

Garmin watches now have apps that will automatically determine rep type (pushup, chinup, deadlift, etc) and count reps. Would be great to have this detail brought in with the Fit file.

Or think about working with an existing Gym phone app for importing.

Ability to record structured gym exercise details. Cater for exercise name, reps, weight, notes. Ability to record multiple sets, supersets and planned vs completed reps/weight. Reporting on exercises, i.e. weight/reps lifted for an exercise over time.
