Swiming Personal Records by stroke
A couple of suggestions for making the swimming personal records useful for those that swim more than one stroke.
(1) They should be broken down by stroke, so a record should be for only one type of stroke; ideally taking into account or setting aside custom stroke types and drills.
(2) Records should be for a continuous effort, not for several efforts with rest gaps removed.

I fully agree with the suggestion above, swimming records per stroke type are much more useful.
And for example, if a 1000m freestyle record has a rest time between two 500m sets, then the rest time should add up to the record time. Also, the distances should be related to actual events:
Freestyle: 50, 100, 200, 400, 1500
Backstroke: 100, 200
Breaststroke: 100, 200
Butterfly: 100, 200
Open water, any stroke - triathlon: 300m, 400m, 750m, 1,5km, 3km, 4km, 1.2miles, 2.4 miles.
Open water, any stroke - marathon: 5km, 10km
